Sourcing for beauty and fragrance brands
Where emotion meets expertise
We help cosmetic and fragrance brands buy smarter: better cost prices, reliable suppliers and packaging that performs. Your sourcing department, without the fixed cost.
- Suppliers across Europe and Asia
- EU rules built into every project

Sound familiar?
Small brands rarely have a purchasing department. These are the problems we get called in for.
You pay more than you should and cannot show it.
Buying prices rise and there is no basis to push back. We build the cost breakdown and negotiate with it.
Everything depends on one supplier.
One delay or price rise stops a launch. We build a supplier base with real alternatives.
Nobody owns sourcing.
Sales, R&D and purchasing each do a bit. We set up clear roles, a price process and briefings that suppliers can work with.
Three ways to work together
Start small with a scan, keep us close with a retainer, or bring us in to lead a project. In every form we advise, negotiate and lead projects, and your team keeps control of purchasing.
Fixed scope, fixed price
Sourcing scan
A focused review of your cost prices, suppliers and risks. You get a ranked list of savings and next steps.
- Cost price and supplier review
- Risk and compliance check
- Action list with expected impact
Monthly retainer
Sourcing partner
A fixed part of our week for your brand, so sourcing gets done without hiring.
- RFQs and supplier negotiations
- New product and packaging development
- Regulatory check before launch
Part-time or full-time
Interim and projects
We step in as interim category manager, sourcing director or senior buyer.
- Interim sourcing or category lead
- Process and role redesign
- Supplier base restructuring
Where we source
Two product worlds where we know the suppliers, the specifications and the pitfalls.

Fragrance packaging
Bottles and closures that carry the scent and the brand.
- Perfumery glass bottles
- rPET packaging
- Sprayers
- Caps

Home fragrances
Complete products, from formulation partner to finished pack.
- Fragrance sticks
- Room sprays
- Laundry fragrance
- Candles
How it works
Two ways in, one clear start.
Step 1
Intro call
30 minutes, no obligation. Your brand, volumes and where sourcing hurts.
Step 2
Scan
We review cost prices, suppliers, risks and your team’s capacity, using your own data.
Step 3
Choose your set-up
Advice and a retainer when your team has the capacity. An interim role, part-time or full-time, when a seat is empty or a change needs a leader.
Step 4
Execute and hand over
We negotiate, develop and deliver. As interim we run the work, write the processes and roles, and hand over to your team when it holds without us.

International beauty retailer
Question
No shared view of cost prices across the categories, no view on Product Lifecycle Management for sourcing and 3 team members on maternity leave to cover.
Approach
First set-up of an automated Open Book Management, all sourcing processes mapped in a new Product Lifecycle Management workflow and an interim cover of the buying categories.
Result
We wrote the open-book process, worked as interim category buyer for the Home category, and wrote the Product Lifecycle process for Sourcing.

Personal care manufacturer
Question
Sales handled sourcing and recipes, sourcing lacked a role and supplier briefings varied.
Approach
Interviews across Sales, R&D and Supply Chain, advised on roles, and a redesigned sourcing process and supplier briefing.
Result

About Mitome
Hi, we are Mitome
Mitome was founded in 2025 by Luc Theeuwes, who spent more than ten years sourcing cosmetics. With the team we’re eager to challenge the current set up and fix the gaps that you see in your operations.
We help brands create products that look beautiful and feel meaningful, because they connect to something deeper in people. From finding the right manufacturing partners to designing packaging and building sustainable supply chains, we combine global expertise with a personal approach.

Meaning behind Mitome
From the Japanese Mitome-in, a small personal stamp used for everyday confirmation: I have seen this, I trust it, I stand behind it. Every project we touch carries that mark.
“Just like fragrance, a true partnership leaves a lasting impression.”
